The Meetinghouse Companies, Inc. is one of the country’s largest corporate event planners. Their business manages and maintains:

  • Designed and configured a network environment based on Microsoft Windows 2003 technology which provided collaborative client services such as:

  • Installed and configured Dell desktop and notebook systems running Microsoft Windows XP for each company associate

Business Continuity and Disaster Prevention Services

  • Installed a secure rack cabinet for their server equipment
  • Developed and implemented procedures for daily data backups
  • Recommended a fireproof safe for local tape storage in addition to offsite storage
  • Provided offsite hosting of a backup UNIX server for their industry-specific application
  • Installed SPAM filtering software for their email system
  • Installed and configured network-based anti-virus and anti-spyware system to protect all desktop PCs and servers

Custom Application Development and Programming
Developed a custom application called Event Management System (EMS). EMS manages almost every aspect of their event planning process.

The benefits of EMS include:

  • Reduction of paperwork involving over 70 forms
  • All records now in one searchable digital location
  • Searching for past event information vastly improved
  • Less paper = reduced cost, better environmental practice
  • Reduced training cycle for new employees. New employee orientation went from 2 months to 2 weeks.

  • Redesigned Meetinghouse.com using both Flash and HTML components
  • Updated the Meetinghouse logo

  • Optimized keyword, title and description metatags
  • Developed a monthly search engine registration and reporting system using WebPosition Gold
